NAME

setb - set backup mode

SYNOPSIS

setb [on | off]
DESCRIPTION

The setb command turns Backup Mode on or off. When invoked with no argument, the command prints the current settings of the Backup Mode variable, the Interface Selection mode, the number of configured Internet interfaces and the Record Route flag.

NOTES

When Backup Mode is turned on, the Interface Selection algorithm is set to 4 so that all subsequent Internet traffic travels via the NAT32 Primary interface. The record route option is turned off.

Conversely, when Backup Mode is turned off, the Interface Selection algorithm is set to 1 (best capacity) and the Record Route option is turned on if multiple Internet interfaces exist. The NAT32 Backup Mode is described here.
